iCloud Mail Currently Down for Some Users [Update: Fixed]

iCloud Mail has been experiencing an issue over the past few hours and is currently down for some users, according to Apple's system status page.

General iOS Mail Feature
There have been a number of reports on Twitter and from MacRumors readers over the past few hours, although the volume of reports doesn't seem terribly high, so the issue may be affecting only a relatively small percentage of users.

Apple says the ‌iCloud‌ Mail service may be "slow or unavailable," but no other ‌iCloud‌ services are currently listed as affected.

Update 1:05 a.m.: Apple says the issue has been fixed after more than nine hours.

Jesus. When is there not an outage of something at apple?
They must be switching their server cables from Lightning to USB-C.

Seeing lots of issues with iCloud mail accounts:

* Read messages revert to unread
* macOS Mail filters not working
* Deleted messages reappear

Hopefully they will have a fix soon.

It's been horrible since late afternoon. Some emails received but empty and deleted messages reappearing. Trying iCloud Mail in a browser also failed completely with an error message popping up. Doesn't matter if it's my MacBook's, iPhone's or iCloud's browser Mail. Even after it was going on for awhile, when I checked Apple's system status page, it was a green dot (no problems). :rolleyes: My location is New Mexico.

My iCloud mail and all my Custom Domains are completely useless right now, using the Mail app or the iCloud website. And it started about 1530 hours PST.
